Apparently Erykah Badu Broke at Least One Law
Well Dallas officials feel Erykah broke a law while filming “Window Seat.”
But so far, Erykah hasn’t been called a criminal for her public nudity. City of Dallas spokesman Frank Librio released a guarded statement Monday, that does however acknowledge that she broke at least one law.
“All commercial film/video or photo shoot projects must be permitted through the City of Dallas Office of Special Events/Film Coordinators,” Librio said in a written statement. “The production company that produced this video never contacted the city to seek the proper permits. This is known as ‘guerrilla filming’ where production companies circumvent the proper permitting procedures and usually shoot these scenes in one take, knowing that if they are discovered they would face arrest and/or penalties.”
There is one thing for certain; had she gotten the proper permissions beforehand, she would not have been able to film it in the nude. The video would have lost it’s deep meaning. I personally loved it. Not the nudity, the way she conveyed her thoughts. The point that she made. This whole thing makes everything she said so true. “groupthink”
Erykah has always tried to bring people to a higher level of thought. I hope things work out okay. It doesn’t sound like they are too ticked about it; just concerned. I’m in the Cleveland area and it made the local news all day yesterday and they’re still talking today. Pressure will probably grow for folks to want to see her punished. If it does, the meaning of her video may make people really think if they can. Thought provoking to say the least……What are your thoughts?

Jay has said he wouldn’t want him to come if there if they didn’t have a team that could be able to support his quest to get a ring. Keep also in mind that Dwayne Wade and others are also scheduled to become free agents also, so that may happen. Meaning, if some of them rally together to go to the same team……damn!!! That would eff up the balance of things though. Like the equilibrium would be off….I’m thinking too much again

A company has made a blowup sex doll that resembles Beyonce’. I surely hope Matthew can take time away from his personal life to handle his daughter’ PR business. Bones Thugs N Harmony Reunion Leads to a Members Arrest
The much anticipated hometown local reunion of Bone Thugs-N-Harmony ended on a sour note last night with the arrest of one of the rap groups members.
According to Cuyahoga County Sheriff’s deputies, they received a tip from the Cleveland Police Department that Howse, more commonly known as Flesh-N-Bone from the Cleveland group Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, was performing at the House of Blues on Sunday evening. Deputies entered the venue and observed him on stage, with an intent to arrest him after the concert.
Police say that Howse recognized that deputies were watching him while he was on stage, and then called the crowd up on to the stage. He then attempted to make an exit off the side under cover. Unfortunately, that tactic did not work. Howse was restrained by a deputy while other deputies and Cleveland police assisted.
Howse was wanted on warrants for “Domestic Violence with a Firearm Specification” and “Felonious Assault with a Firearms Specification.”
Howse was taken to Cuyahoga County jail. He resides in Los Angeles, and this was believed to be his first visit to Cleveland in more than ten years.
In 2000, Howse was sentenced to prison in California for threatening a man with an AK-47 assault rifle. He was released in 2008.
